XRC MEDICAL IMAGING LAUNCHES NEW WEB SITE
XRC Medical Imaging (XRCMI) recently announced its new Web site: www.xrcmi.com. The user-friendly site is an interactive tool that patients and physicians can use to learn about the imaging services offered by XRCMI. The Web site includes sections dedicated exclusively to Women’s Imaging, referring physicians and patient preparation guidelines, with answers to commonly asked questions.

WELLS FARGO INSURANCE SERVICES MOVES OFFICES
The office of Wells Fargo Insurance Services has moved from 601 East Beardsley Avenue to 307 South Main Street, Suite 200, at Main and High Street, across from the Plaza, in the center of downtown Elkhart. Wells Fargo Insurance Services is proud to be, once again, in the downtown Elkhart Business district, and excited to be able to enjoy all the improvements that have already been made, and those that are being planned. TCU DONATES GRANT TO THE HEARING AND SPEECH CENTER
TCU has donated a grant of $8,000 to the Hearing and Speech Center located at 6910 North Main Street, Building 9, in Granger. The Hearing and Speech Center will use these funds to purchase specialized diagnostic equipment that is necessary to provide clinical hearing tests for children under three years of age. Hearing & Speech Center is the only not-for-profit agency to offer these services. Beginning November 1, the Hearing and Speech Center will provide clinical hearing tests for infants and toddlers.
All testing is performed by a certified audiologist, and is covered by most health insurance plans. In addition, the Hearing and Speech Center also provides comprehensive speech-language evaluations, individual speech-language therapy, language groups and other hearing-related services.

CONSPECT SERVICES PRESIDENT AWARDED GREEN ROOF PROFESSIONAL DESIGNATION
ConSpecT Services, Inc., Michiana’s only professional roof consulting firm, is pleased to announce that their president R. W. (Bob) Humbarger has been awarded the Green Roof Professional (GRP) designation from the Green Roofs for Healthy Cities (GRHC) organization. To achieve this designation Mr. Humbarger first served on the Roof Consultants Institute’s initial Green Roof Research Committee from 2002 to 2004 and was the RCI delegate to the GRHC’s annual educational conventions. He then took
the four required GRHC courses Design 101, Waterproofing & Drainage 201, Infrastructure Design & Installation 301, and Green Roof Plants & Growing Media 401 in 2007 through 2008 and finally the 2-hour exam in 2009. Mr. Humbarger is now one of only 150 Green Roof Professionals (GRP) in North America. Mr. Humbarger is also a Registered Roof Consultant RRC as recognized by the Roof Consultant Institute and a Construction Documents Technologist (CDT) as recognized by the Construction Specification Institute.

GIBSON INSURANCE GROUP RETAINS BEST PRACTICE STATUS
Gibson Insurance Group is part of an elite group of independent insurance agencies around the United States to retain Best Practices status in 2009 from Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA). Gibson Insurance Group first received the honor in 1994 and has retained the Best Practices status every year since. Only four agencies in the state of Indiana received this honor in 2009. More than 800 independent agencies throughout the U.S. were nominated to take part in the annual
study, with only 195 agencies qualifying for the honor. The Best Practices Study was initiated by IIABA in 1993 as the foundation for efforts to improve agency performance. The annual survey and study of leading independent insurance agencies documents the business practices of these “best” agencies and urges others to adopt similar practices.

TOWNE AIR FREIGHT EXTENDS AGREEMENT WITH LUFTHANSA CARGO
Towne Air Freight and Lufthansa Cargo have extended their agreement in which Towne Network Solutions (a wholly owned subsidiary of Towne Air Freight) will continue to provide Lufthansa exclusive Road Feeder Management services for all trucking in the USA and Canada. The agreement will remain in effect through June of 2012. Towne Network Solutions provides logistical solutions including LTL, specialized equipment and container freight services throughout North America to Lufthansa as well as many other large international
and domestic airlines. A comprehensive management product is offered through a combination of Towne Air Freight’s extensive, nationwide system as well as a select group of partner providers.

GIBSON INSURANCE GROUP AGENT RECEIVES DISTINGUISHED AWARD
Linda M. Nifong, CPCU, CPIW, AIS, of Gibson Insurance Group received the 2009 Independent Insurance Agents of Indiana’s (IIAI) Distinguished Customer Service Award. Nifong received outstanding scores in the categories of insurance education with an excellent commitment to continuing education, excellent knowledge and skills in the independent insurance agency system, and an exceptional commitment to the insurance industry. The criterion of this award recognizes an employee of a member agency who demonstrates
and values loyalty, dedication to achievement of results and continued professional growth. She will be honored and recognized on November 14, 2009 in an awards ceremony at the IIAI Annual Convention.
