It's impossible for any team to thrive if its members cannot work together. It’s a fact – Collaboration is essential for team success. When people work together with shared purpose and common goals, good things start to happen. When they know they are better off working together and make the effort to join forces, decisions are more effective, ideas are implemented
more smoothly, productivity and performance improve and people feel better about what they are doing.
In this session, you’ll learn why involving people in decision making leads to better ideas and more efficient implementation. You see how conflict and confrontation can be healthy and productive and how it can kill innovation, quality and efficiency. You will get a feel for when tightening the reins can be a good thing and when it stifles good work. You will also see several cases where collaboration was a key to success
and situations where a little collaboration would have made a big difference.

Old Game/New Way thinking: This is a model that was developed to move away from conflict and confrontation in the negative and how trust is at the heart of working together.
